Torchbearers invites emerging leaders from across Akron to come together to provide guidance on Akron's first Cultural Plan. This event is free, open to the public, and intended for an audience between 23 and 40 years old.

Calling all local artists: Join ArtsNow for a facilitated discussion on the cultural plan at the Rialto Theater. Discussion will center on your vision for the future of arts and culture in Akron and how the Cultural Plan can help support that vision. Come prepared with your big ideas, desires and wants for the future of arts and culture. Snacks will be provided.

We will be answer questions like “what is a cultural master plan?” and “what does this mean for Akron” with an in-depth information session for the arts, hosted by principal of Designing Local, Josh Lapp.
