Akron-Summit County Public Library/Direction Home Akron Canton Collaboration Improves Access For Seniors

The Akron-Summit County Public Library is grateful and excited to partner with Direction Home Akron Canton to help bring greater digital access to the Library's resources. Seniors receiving computers through Direction Home's County of Summit CARES Nonprofit Grant will also receive infographic, device-specific usage guides created by the Library for this initiative. Additionally, the devices will have curated ASCPL webpages pre-saved to the distributed devices for easy and quick access, linking seniors to arts programming, health, hobby and family history resources, and more.
