Door 2 Art Studio Hosts Annual Juried Art Show

Door 2 Art Studio hosted their annual juried art show for local artists. Of the over 400 artworks submitted 180 were selected to appear in the show with monetary prizes being awarded to first through third, as well as to the honorable mentions in painting, sculpture, new media, mixed media, and student work. Additionally, a $1,000 best in show was awarded.

In an effort to create a fair and open jury process, Door 2 always selects a panel of individuals both from staff, and the art community with a wide range of media specialties represented among the group. This year’s jurors were Adriana Caso, Michael Seng, Ron White, Karen Koch, Sara Hughes and Martha Bayliss.

The show itself took place from March 13th – 16th at our studio in Hudson, with a reception and awards ceremony on the 14th. Over the course of the four days over 980 community members attended the show and engaged with the art. We were thrilled to once again welcome so many community members into our space and look forward to continuing this show in 2026.
