Summit Choral Society, a nationally recognized, award-winning choir based in Akron, Ohio, was selected to perform at the prestigious National Memorial Day Choral Festival in Washington, D.C. This esteemed invitation underscores the choir's exceptional reputation and commitment to musical excellence on a national scale. The National Memorial Day Choral Festival, co-sponsored by Music Celebrations International, the American Veterans Center, and the United States Air Force, stands as a beacon of honor and remembrance for America's veterans. Designed to highlight the true essence of the Memorial Day holiday, the festival brings together choirs from across the country to pay tribute to the pride, sacrifice, and service of our nation's heroes. 

Summit Choral Society's Performance Choir took center stage at the renowned John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, joining voices with singers from diverse backgrounds to deliver a powerful and poignant musical tribute. This coveted opportunity not only showcases the choir's exceptional talent but also reaffirms its status as a premier musical ensemble representing Akron, Ohio, on a national level.
