OAEA’s Distinguished Businesses/Organization for Art Education

The Ohio Art Education Association (OAEA) is the leading professional membership organization exclusively for visual arts educators in Ohio. Each year they recognize businesses, organizations, and citizens that contribute to the livelihood of art education and art educators across Ohio.

Western Reserve Hospital was nominated by Jennifer Schulman (Cuyahoga Falls High School), Molly Hartong (Collide: Cuyahoga Falls) and Nicole Mullet (ArtsNow).

The hospital supports Cuyahoga Falls High School Art and Film programs through various programs such as the “All-City Art Walk”, “Student Film Festival” and showcasing student art at the hospital. The hospital received the OAEA’s Distinguished Businesses/Organization for Art Education awarded in 2020.

Typically, OAEA’s holds a ceremony but due to COVID, it did not occur and our plaque and recognition was recently received.
